My name is Timothy
I have been writing poetry for years ever since I was given a poetry project in primary school. A little while later I started writing poetry again in high school in my spare time and I still do it from time to time today all these years later.
Why Do I Write Poems?
I write poems as a hobby in my spare time because I enjoy it and it is something I like doing. I enjoy writing poems and I often use poetry to write and express my thoughts and feelings because I find it easier to write about my feelings than talk about them.
Why Type Poems Do I Write?
I have written many types of poems over the years including Acrostic, Haiku, Limerick, Free Verse, Ballad, Lyric Ballad and much more. But my favourite types of poem to write are Limerick, Free Verse and Ballad.
Why Do I Want To Share My Poems?
I want to share my poems with people because I think they will enjoy them and I have been told by my friends I’m a good writer. I used to share all my poems on Facebook and my friends really liked them. I even had request from one of my friends to use one of my poems to teach her daughter to count and the same friend also requested me to write another poem that wanted to used to teach her daughter about colours which I wrote quite quickly.
I would like to help people in this way with my poems as well as build a community of like minded people who enjoy poems and provide them with many helpful and entertaining poems to read. I would like to be able entertain and connect with many people around the world that enjoy poetry while providing a place where they can all connect with me, ask questions, and read my poetry as well as add their own poetry and connect with other like minded people.
The Goal Of Tim’s Poetry
The purpose of this website is to share my poetry. As I said above I used to always share my poems on Facebook but I wanted place to share them where everyone around the world can find and access them easily all in one place.
I’m not doing this as a business this is just a hobby and something I enjoy doing. I will be writing new poems every month and publishing them on this website as well as publishing all my poems I have written over the years.
